We are pleased to announce our recent hiring of Ali Pekesen to the position of brand strategist to lead our marketing decisions. Ali comes to us and returns to his hometown Lahti from Alma Media, Helsinki where for three years he worked for their online marketplace sales department. Also, his previous experience in developing and commercialising an online marketplace start-up brings a proven creative mindset to upgrade our customer experience and push the Finnester brand globally.
“Finnester has a trailblazing company culture in a mostly conservative business environment.” Ali explains. “Marketing chemical solutions for technical challenges requires imagination and the current traditional marketing trends are not an automatic fit. Finding new clients will be a multi-layered process and utilising an Instagram-influencer to take a picture with a bucket of our wet sample isn’t probably the first option, although a fun idea. Maintaining professionalism while increasing visibility will require a different kind of courage, which Finnester has.”
